Hey There

I'm currently sitting in the game room of my ever beautiful (but totally broken down and ancient) dorm hall. It's the last Monday of my freshman year of college and I SHOULD be finishing up that six page English paper I've been saving for a rainy day. Unfortunately, it's due tomorrow and it hasn't down poured in a few days, even though I live in Florida and it rains around 3 p.m. every afternoon. I'm absolutely ecstatic to be home for the summer. Friendswood is quite possibly one of the dullest places in the continental U.S. with nothing but the high school and just about every fast food place on the planet, but it also happens to be, I think, one of my favorites. And it's really only about a half hour away from downtown Houston and Galveston. Galveston waters may not be the prettiest in the world, but hey! it's still the beach. :) Plus, I dig the whole small town can't walk down the street without seeing someone you know thing. But then again, everyone drives in Friendswood, if you're over the age of 14 and you walk places people stare at you wide-eyed. In attempts to actually finish my final paper, I'm going to cut this blog short. Until next time: Stay Classy.
